Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about travel nursing?
What should I expect in terms of assignment length?
The length of assignments depends primarily on the facility’s requirements and the nurse’s availability. We prioritize flexibility to accommodate both factors, ensuring the best fit for our staff. Typically, we aim for a minimum contract duration of three months, with clients often preferring longer-term agreements.
Are travel and accommodation covered?
Yes! Every contract is different but one thing is for certain travel and accommodation are always covered. If you decide to drive to your contract we reimburse for mileage and accommodations along the way or we arrange flights. Accommodation will be provided by Adventura or the facility. We always strive to provide a “home away from home” that has all amenities and is a place for relaxation when you are not working. If you prefer to find your own housing we provide a housing stipend.

What do I need before applying for a travel contract?
When a health care provider applies through Adventura we will connect with you one on one and generate your professional profile. A common delay we see with individuals wanting to start their next journey is not having an up to date Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check or a TB skin test. Both of which should be within the past 12 months
