Our Story
For our founders, travel nursing was life-changing. It meant driving across the country, discovering communities they might never have visited, and forming lifelong friendships after each assignment. That experience led to the creation of Adventura Medical Staffing, a staffing agency built by nurses, for nurses. Founded in British Columbia in October 2023 and operating across Ontario, Adventura was created with a simple belief: travel nursing should feel meaningful and enjoyable.
As a nurse-led agency, we understand the realities of frontline work and the importance of feeling supported and valued. We empower nurses and allied health care professionals to explore new regions, form lasting connections, and rediscover the passion that brought them into health care.
We partner with hospitals, long-term care homes, and community health teams to deliver reliable, responsive staffing solutions in rural and underserved areas. Our focus is to create a positive experience for both staff and clients through strong communication, staff advocacy, and consistent, high-quality patient care.
